What Are TDF and TDC Flanges?
TDF (Transverse Duct Frame) is a flange system where the flange is formed directly onto the end of the duct panel itself. The duct edge is roll-formed into a flange profile, eliminating the need for separate angle iron frames. Corner pieces and clamps complete the connection.
TDC (Transverse Duct Connector) uses a separate, independent flange strip that is attached to the duct end. The flange is a roll-formed profile that clips onto the duct, providing a more rigid connection. TDC is sometimes called "plug-in flange" because the flange strip plugs onto the duct edge.
